Dr. Simon began her clinical psychology practice in the Toledo area in 1992 at Central Behavioral Healthcare before joining Assessment and Family Therapy in 2004. She attended the University of Dayton and Wright State University's School of Professional Psychology. She became a licensed psychologist in the state of Ohio in 1993. Dr. Simon is a member of the Ohio Psychological Association.
Dr. Simon sees clients ages 3 years old and up, and offers in person or online therapy. Her interests are family and individual therapy, psychological assessments, including ADHD, Autism, and learning disabilities. She does many assessments for students who have ADHD in order to provide updated documentation for college entrance exams and learning services in college. She sees clients with depression, anxiety, phobias, adjustment concerns, stress, adult ADHD, behavior issues and anger issues. Dr. Simon has also worked with individual athletes for sports psychology purposes. Dr. Simon has also consulted in critical incidence debriefings, and provided psychological care for nursing home residents. Sherry is a mother of 2 grown children and when she is not in the office, she is an avid cyclist competing at local, state, national and world championships with her husband Jim.

Our life transitions sessions help clients navigate major life changes, such as divorce, retirement, or career changes. We provide clients with the support and guidance they need to move through these transitions with confidence and clarity.
Our self-esteem and confidence sessions help clients build a positive self-image and develop greater confidence in themselves and their abilities. We help clients identify negative self-talk and belief patterns and replace them with more positive and empowering ones.
Our mind-body wellness sessions help clients cultivate greater awareness of the mind-body connection and develop practices to support their overall health and well-being. We offer a range of mind-body techniques, such as mindfulness, yoga, and meditation, to help clients reduce stress, improve sleep, and enhance their overall quality of life.
